Praying your way through the Streets

An Offering to Ganesh

sunny 82 °F

I've noticed that all the drivers from the (taxi-driver to the auto-rickshaw wrangler) here have some religious trinket or other to protect them from harm.
If you're a muslim, you have green or black religious text in arabic scrawled on your windshield.
If you're a christian, you have a sticker of Jesus with his hand out in blessing.

And if you're a hindu, you have a statue of Ganesh (remover of obstacles) with a fresh offering of flowers.
Speaks to the chaotic driving here in Chennai
