Drinking with my Host Family

sunny 82 °F

FridayNight a few of my host-parent's friends came over and we had a great dinner just drinking and talking. It's unheard of in Chennai (a pretty conservative city), but my host family is pretty progressive in its views of alcohol. It may also be that my host-mother is Punjab - where they have a more light-hearted drinking culture. So did their family friends. For once, it was nice to kick it back and get some life advice from Indian couples and bachelors who'd been through it all. It was a really great group of people.
